ML in PL Virtual Event 2020 – Call for Posters
We are excited to invite you to submit your proposal for a poster for ML in PL: Virtual Event 2020 that is going to be organized 18th of December 2020. Once again, but this time virtually, we wish to bring together a broad array of researchers, specialists, practitioners, educators, students, and others of diverse backgrounds, locations, and genders, to meet, present, and discuss their recent achievements. We aim to create a great opportunity to show your latest work, get feedback from the community, and make new connections. We highly encourage submitting works previously presented at other ML conferences as well as projects that are work in progress.

To participate in Call for Posters, we ask you to provide a full name with the affiliation, the title of your poster, abstract up to 300 words, a short bio and, in case of multi-author work, also names of other authors. We accept submission until the 30th of October 2020. Each submission will be evaluated by the Call for Posters Committee of ML in PL: Virtual Event 2020. The authors will be notified about our assessment on the 18th of November 2020.

Additionally to the poster, we will ask the authors of accepted submissions to prepare a short 3-5 minute introductory video to their work that we will make available to the participants before the poster session. During the poster session, authors will have an opportunity to host a discussion on their work with other participants of ML in PL: Virtual Event 2020 via videoconference. We expect posters and videos to be in English.

Authors of all accepted posters will get a free event ticket. Additionally, during the conference, participants will vote for the best poster. Authors of works with the highest number of votes will receive free tickets for further stationary ML in PL Conference.

You can contact us at callforposters@mlinpl.org in case you have any questions regarding Call for Posters.
