Homeowner Program Interest 2026-2027
Our goal at Habitat is to provide a safe, affordable place for everyone to live. That is where our Homeowner Program comes in! This program provides a way for a Habitat homeowner to purchase a Habitat home at a 0% interest rate. If you are eligible for our Homeowner Program, our Family Services Manager will contact you as soon as our next cycle opens (estimated Fall 2026).

If approved, are you willing to partner with Flint River Habitat for Humanity to pay a monthly 0% interest 30-year mortgage? *
If approved, are you willing to invest 300 sweat equity (volunteer) hours through Flint River Habitat for Humanity to meet the homeowner program requirements? *
If approved, are you willing to pay an estimated $3000 in closing costs for the home in monthly increments? (Closing costs include taxes, insurance, and a required termite bond for the home) *
If approved, the program and home build may take 12-24 months to complete. Are you able and willing to wait 12-24 months for a home? *
