You are invited to join us Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at noon in BWC 249, for a presentation and Q&A with Maggie Thickens, Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary, sponsored by the Sandbulte Center for Ethical Leadership Speaker Series in the Stender School of Business and Technology at St. Scholastica.

Ms. Thickens was named Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary of ALLETE in 2019. Ms. Thickens earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. She worked in the Office of General Counsel at Honeywell Inc. and in private practice in Duluth, Minnesota, before joining ALLETE as an attorney and then senior attorney. She was named General Counsel for ALLETE Clean Energy in 2011 and Director of Compliance in 2017. Two years later, she was promoted to ALLETE Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary. She will discuss her career path and leadership lessons learned along the way.
