2019 CAEA Fall Conference Workshop Proposal "Art from the Heart"
"Art from the Heart"

November 7-9, 2019
Beaver Run Resort
Breckenridge, Colorado

Art From the Heart: An Artistic Journey that facilitates the creation of new habits and experiences that push us and our students to become more fully human by making personal and intellectual connections through our artistic behaviors.

As artists we are constantly in search of a deeper connection to our own personal relevance in our work and our art. We set goals personally and professionally to help us grow as Artists and Educators that enhance the artistic experiences for our students and ourselves. When we encounter personal and professional challenges we rely on our interests, aspirations, and passion to continue doing what we love. Art from the heart encourages us to create artistic experiences for ALL students.

How do we as educators make heART connections in our personal lives and in our classrooms?
