RSVP Form for Humanities-Science Exchanges: Human-Plant Relationships
This event kicks off the Plants, People, and the Humanities series of events hosted by the Glasscock Center’s Humanities Land Sea Space initiative. This series explores research in the emerging, interdisciplinary area of the plant humanities. Speakers Dr. Allison Hopkins (Department of Anthropology, TAMU) & Kenneth R. Hurst (Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning, TAMU) will discuss from their corresponding fields how people and societies relate to land and vegetation. Guided tours of the Teaching Gardens will be provided after the event.

The event will be taking place at the Pavilion of the Leach Teaching Gardens at Texas A&M University. Weather permitting, the pocket doors of the Pavilion will be opened to allow for a semi-outdoor space. Parking and transportation information for the Gardens can be found at tx.ag/GardensParking
