Drupal has on several occasions grown an itch that needed scratching into a feature that has driven the adaptation of our platform forward into new markets (e.g. organic groups, FeedAPI/Feeds, Open Atrium, etc.). I believe that we currently have a documentation itch that when addressed properly could turn Drupal into the dominant open source tool for collaborative, community driven documentation efforts.

The goal of this survey is to estimate how important documentation is for Drupal professionals and to identify what the most important features would be in a documentation system for/in Drupal.
