Read Write Discover 2017 Tutor Application
Sign up to become a tutor for Read Write Discover!
Read Write Discover is a nonprofit organization that aims to combat illiteracy by providing children with free reading/writing tutoring over the summer! As a tutor you will be expected to construct lesson plans for your student(s) and tutor them to the best of your ability. More details will be given later on.

This program at the Milpitas Library runs every Monday and starts the week of June 12 and ends on July 31. There are two sessions: 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. This is a fun and rewarding way to spend your summer while also earning easy community service hours!

After receiving your application, we'll contact you to schedule an interview time. Notification of acceptance or denial will be sent out via email after review of the interview.

Tutor training is mandatory if you are accepted, and it is scheduled for Saturday, June 10 from 2 PM to 4 PM.

Feel free to email Jonathan Tran and Tina Tran at if you have any questions.
