The Starnes Media Creator Collective is a professional mentorship and training program for high school students in Birmingham’s most prestigious public and private schools. Designed to nurture the next generation of storytellers, journalists, and content creators, the program provides hands-on experience in:
Multimedia journalism: news writing, interviewing, and content creation
Social media management, photography, videography, and editing
Professional ethics and responsibilities
The program is led by Tim Stephens, General Manager of Starnes Media and an award-winning media professional with decades of experience in journalism, mentorship, and content strategy.
