Session Design Glossary
Modeling of Instructional Practice or Protocol: This session design will immerse educator learners into an experience they may replicate in their own classrooms or contexts. For example, a session presenter/facilitator may simulate a question formulation technique protocol, or take teacher learners through an organizational task.

Learning Lab: This session design, as a lab, would offer participants a hands on experience to design or develop a deliverable they may take back to their classrooms or contexts.

Workshop/Clinic: This session will be action oriented providing space for hands on learning opportunities to collaborate with participants.

Presentation: This session would be didactic in nature. The presenter may have prepared a presentation for participants to consume during the session.

Round Table Discussion: This session offers participants the opportunity to participate in a discussion facilitated by the presenter. This might be a single whole group or several small group discussion.

Panel: This session design would include the presenter organizing a panel discussion; inviting panelists to participate in a discussion for the participant audience.
