Brews on The Bricks 2021
Saturday, August 28, 2021
12:30pm-5:00pm
On the Bricks of Main Street
Downtown Hays, Kansas

Greetings Brewers,

A SAFE AND FUN RETURN. That’s what we’re looking forward to providing at the 5th Annual Brews on the Bricks craft beer festival in Downtown Hays. After a year disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, there’s nothing we’re looking forward to more than raising a glass with you.

We are working hard to ensure a safe festival for brewers and guests and health and safety protocols will be in place. As of the creation of this registration packet, April 2021, there is no mask mandate in Hays, Kansas. This is subject to change and we will do our part to keep registered breweries up-to-date. Your safety and the safety of our guests is our top priority. As in previous years, we will have hand-washing stations easily accessible to brewers, vendors, and guests. Additionally we will be providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the event. In 2021, we will be implementing a contact-less pour so brewers will not be required to touch the glasses or hands of attendees when giving samples. Finally, we have increased our tent space to allow breweries the opportunity to distance easily from one another. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding safety precautions, please contact sara@downtownhays.com. We want you to feel excited to attend, not anxious.

This event showcases regional craft beer “on the bricks” in beautiful Downtown Hays, Kansas. In only it’s 5th year. This event has gone from an attendance of a few hundred to over 2,000 in 2019. This year’s event is set for Saturday, August 28th. We will once again feature Brews and Bites, a VIP food event for very lucky ticket holders, from 12:30 to 2:00p. Then, a General Admission tasting session, for all attendees from 2:00 to 5:00p.

Downtown Hays features historic brick streets surrounded by multiple eateries, boutiques and thriving businesses in the heart of the community. After careful consultation with local breweries and our past events, we promise an organized, fun, and safe event for the festival goers, as well as brewers.

We will keep our Facebook page and website updated to provide details, and we will promote the event through multiple media outlets. Once your registration is received we will send you a confirmation email and any additional festival information you may need.

We are looking forward to another sold out event supporting the growth of craft beer culture in the Midwest. Cheers!
