Greeley Creative District: Board Member Application
The Greeley Creative District a state-designated creative district tasked with uplifting, encouraging, and developing the arts and creative businesses in the Greeley community. The District provides educational resources and programming for creatives, offers promotional support for arts and cultural events, and hosts its own signature events, including the AgriCULTURE Feast, DoTell! storytelling event, Dia de los Muertos, and Cacophony of Creatives meetups.
Our seventeen-member board of directors governs the Greeley Creative District. We are currently accepting applications for open board seats. The Greeley Creative District seeks board representation that is a full and accurate reflection of our community, and believes our work is strengthened by diversity along a number of dimensions, including race, ethnicity and national origins, gender and gender identity, sexuality, age, class and religion.
Board membership requires a commitment of one regularly scheduled board meeting per month, currently scheduled on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 8:15-10am. In addition, board members are expected to serve on one or more subcommittees, and to volunteer for both GCD signature events and GCD sponsored events throughout the year.
