The IAPA and its members commit to the following:

  • Defend and promote freedom of the press and expression in the Americas.
  • Promote and protect the interests and dignity of the media and journalism.
  • Work to preserve peace, truth, and democracy.
  The IAPA is financed in part by the dues of its members.

There are two categories of membership:
  1. Active Membership (individual and corporate media) - Complete only the first page of the form.
  2. Associate Membership (organizations, companies, schools, academics, journalists, and retirees) - Complete only the second page of the form.

Affiliation Requirements

To initiate the membership process, IAPA requires the applicant to submit the payment of the first year's membership fee, which may be paid by USA check, credit card, or bank transfer.
