Most of our animals are spayed/neutered, and those that are NOT (too young) will be scheduled for an appointment at Poughkeepsie Animal Wellness. Adopter can discuss having animal spayed/neutered with their current veterinarian clinic.

Who are we? We are 2 women and a teen who want to make a difference: one teacher, a school counselor and  a student. We have joined forces with,”Paws Saved by Chrissy,” helping more rescue dogs find forever homes.

Abused, neglected, born in the streets, tossed out like garbage, Satos and Gatos yearn to trust and be loved.  Our mission is to help each animal we save from Puerto Rico get just that - a loving home. We also help raise money for the local women of PR to feed and house the homeless animals on the island from adoption donations. When they find adoptable animals, our rescue, along with several others in the states, works to find forever homes. There are over a half million homeless dogs/cats on the island. Dogs/cats are adopted as is at time of adoption. We enjoy adopters staying in touch and sending updated pictures!

Please READ: we allow a one week trial period. We have the right to take the animal back if it gets loose or there is a sense of neglect. You can return the animal to us within one week for a full refund. After one week, THERE IS NO REFUND. You must surrender the animal back to us regardless of the amount of time passed.
