2025 NAEA Conference Proposal Terms/Conditions
**PLEASE CAREFULLY READ EACH ITEM BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING PROPOSAL**
The National Alternative Education Association (NAEA) Board is excited to host the 30th Annual NAEA Conference October 6-8 in New Orleans! This conference is our annual event that brings together international administrators, teachers, counselors, professional development coordinators, and support staff who work within Alternative / Non-Traditional Education Programs.
This is the Call for Proposals for our Conference. Each breakout session is 60 minutes in length. Please note the Presenter Responsibilities that are listed below.
PROPOSAL SUBMITTAL: All proposals must be submitted by May 2, 2025- All proposals must be submitted through this form. No other method of submission will be accepted.
REGISTRATION: Upon selection of your proposal, all presenters are required to register for the 2025 NAEA Conference.
COMMUNICATION: The primary presenter will receive correspondence related to the Conference. It is the primary presenter’s responsibility to relay appropriate information to all co-presenters.
EXPENSES: All presenters are responsible for all expenses related to the Conference, including registration and hotel accommodations.
HANDOUTS: If handouts are being provided, all documents will need to be submitted by September 1, 2025. Submitted documents will be uploaded to the conference app and shared with registered participants upon conclusion of the conference. By submitting a call for proposal form, you agree to have your information, including any photos and your first and last name, placed on our website and in print media.
EQUIPMENT: Presenters are responsible for providing their own technology devices. This includes extension cords, speakers, etc. The presenter will incur costs for additional AV devices.
ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED REGARDING PROPOSAL STATUS NO LATER THAN May 31, 2025
