Horse & Dragon Brewing Company -- Private Event Request
If after reading the following information you think that H&D would be a good spot for your event, please fill out the form and we will get back to you within a week (typically less!). Please note that any beer prices quoted for your gathering are subject to change, particularly if you are booking an event months out.

Currently we are experiencing ever-changing table spacing, capacity and regulations due to COVID-19 - please get in touch with your requested date and information about your group and we'll respond with information on current regulations!

The Horse & Dragon tasting room may be used for private parties of 80 or fewer guests on mutually agreeable dates during these hours daily:
o 8:30 a.m. – noon (year round)
o 7:30 - 10:00 p.m. (year round)

Q: What is the cost for H & D’s space?
A: In response to increased staffing needs and to encourage groups to avoid last-minute cancellations, there is a $100 rental fee for use of H & D's space. Should your group spend more than $200 in beer during your event, your rental fee will be refunded to the organizer. If you are a non-profit or are organizing an event benefitting one, please let us know and we are happy to discuss waiving this fee!

Q: Can we buy our guests beer?
A: If you would like to arrange for a hosted bar, please let us know in advance who will be responsible for the final bill. We will keep track of what is ordered and run the bill at the end of the party. We are happy to issue tickets (e.g. 2 tickets per person at the party) if you prefer to host just one or two beers.

Q: Do we provide the bartender for our event?
A: The bar will be staffed by Horse & Dragon team members for events, and events will not be confirmed until staffing is secured.

Q: Does Horse & Dragon have a full bar?
A: We can only serve Horse & Dragon beers. We also do not have ice, lemons, etc.

Q: Can I bring in other alcohol to serve at my party?
A: No outside alcohol may be brought in and served at the Horse & Dragon tasting room (our license does not allow for this). This may be a dealbreaker for your party if your guests are devoted to wine or whiskey!

Q: Can I bring in other non-alcoholic beverages?
A: You may bring in outside non-alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase in the tasting room are Colorado-made Rocky Mountain Soda Company sodas ($2 each), Turtle Mountain Kombucha ($4.50 each), and Kure’s Ginger Beer ($2 each).

Q: Does Horse & Dragon have food?
A: We do not have a kitchen at Horse & Dragon. Parties are welcome to cater or bring their own food, or arrange for a food truck to be in the parking lot during the party.

Q: Can I play whatever music I want at my party?
A: We do not carry music licenses at Horse & Dragon. Our tasting room is of a size that commercial radio can be played without a license, but private playlists cannot be played and bands that play copyrighted covers cannot perform here unless they are covered under some other license. We are happy to find a commercial radio station that fits your desired music style.

Q: What other rules are there for hosting my event?
A: 1. We ask that you take all trash from your event with you when you leave, as part of our efforts to reduce waste include very small trash bins at the brewery. 2. All children must be fully supervised at all times at Horse & Dragon - we are a production brewery and safety is our highest concern, so please keep a close eye on all kiddos! 3. Only service animals are allowed indoor at Horse & Dragon.
