We are pleased to extend an opportunity
to participate in our free, onsite summer seminar (aka MISHA Summer Seminar[1]) at Rochester Institute of Technology in June 2026.
This opportunity is made possible by funding from the Whiting Foundation and RIT-based support. The program is led by Juilee Decker, Roger L. Easton, Jr., Dave Messinger, and Tom Rieger of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). This year the MISHA Summer Seminar will be held the week of June 7-13, 2026 on the campus of RIT in Rochester, NY. (Participant arrival on Sunday June 7, 2026; departure on Friday, June 12 or Saturday, June 13, 2026.) Attendance is expected at every day's events and activities. After the Sunday arrival gathering, workshops will run from 9am - 5 pm M-F.
At the seminar, participants will gain skills in multispectral imaging literacy through system use and the resultant creation of new knowledge in the humanities made possible through imaging, processing, and interpretation. The MISHA Summer Seminar is free to all: housing is provided for all participants at the RIT dorms at Global Village; an evening reception on June 7, 2026 and breakfast and lunch for M-F are provided.
Acceptance is based upon applications received by the due date noted below. Important dates are below:
