Summer of CS Interest Form
CSforCA, the Sacramento County Office of Education, Santa Barbara County Office of Education, San Diego County Office of Education, Stanislaus County Office of Education and the Riverside County Office of Education invite K-12 teachers, counselors, and administrators from across California to apply for virtual Computer Science (CS) professional development in the Summer of 2021. Please complete the Interest Form below for more information on one or more of the Summer of CS programs.

Because there are numerous Summer of CS professional development scholarships that will allow you to attend the Summer of CS statewide kick-off event and workshops at no cost, it is important that you and your school/district administration have made the commitment to teach CS in the 2021-2022 school year. In addition to the Summer of CS program(s) in which you participate, you will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive professional development experience over the next year. More information on those opportunities will be provided in future email communications.

If you are interested in applying for's CS Discoveries (Grades 6-10 - June 21-25) or CS Principles (Grades 9-11 - June 21-25), please apply at and enter your zip code for more information about virtual workshops in your area. If you would like to receive additional information about California's official CS professional development week, please complete the form below and select the workshop in which you are interested.

Upon completing the Summer of CS Interest Form, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis. In the meantime, please contact Jared Amalong, with any questions you have.
