Enhanced Support

Enhanced Support is available for Wales Africa partnerships who may request up to 6 sessions of support to work in a more focused way on a particular area. You may choose to focus on something specific to your work in Wales, or an area related to your work in partnership. Both partners in Africa and partners in Wales are able to request this support and we encourage you to participate together with your partner to develop a shared understanding. This enables you to take a deeper dive into issues that you may be grappling with, with some structured support.

For example, you may be wanting to work through:

  • strategy
  • policy and practice including safeguarding
  • putting the Anti-racism Charter into action
  • developing organisational capacity, or 
  • looking at fundraising. 
Your request will be triaged by our Development Support Team and you will be allocated an adviser. Please note there may be a waiting list for support if demand is high. 

Please note due to capacity we are only able to support organisations working in existing Wales and Africa partnerships.
