Social Justice and Action Survey
The Plymouth Congregation has a long and storied history of doing God’s work in the world, from the Holy Rollers painting teams to serving unhoused women at Mary’s Place to the ongoing work of the Immigration Ministry Team and Welcome Circle. The list of the ways that Plymouth members have shown up in the past and continue to show up out in the wider world and in our own community over the past 153 years would go on for pages and pages and pages.
And, it seems fair to say that the Covid-19 pandemic took some of the wind out of our sails and that perhaps it is time for us to reimagine what our social justice work could look like as we chart our new normal.
In the interest of learning what all we are currently doing and ways that we might be interested in plugging into social and climate justice work, your Congregational Council would appreciate your responses to the questions below.
Please note that we do not intend this to be an anonymous survey since we plan to use the responses to help folks with similar interests “find” each other so that we can engage in the work in community. We will, however, keep any comments or notes to Council confidential if there is anything you want to tell us that you’d prefer is kept private.
