Growing Gardeners Registration
The Department of Health and Human Service is celebrating National Garden Week June 6 – 12 by encouraging residents who have never experienced gardening to participate in Growing Gardeners on Friday, June 11 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. or Saturday, June 12 10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. at the City Hall Annex 50 Evergreen Avenue.
WE'VE REACHED FULL CAPACITY FOR THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 11th. PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITLIST FOR THE JULY OR AUGUST/SEPTEMBER SESSIONS.
This is program is for Somerville residents who have always wanted to garden but never had the opportunity. Growing Gardeners participants will learn how to plant, assemble and maintain their own mobile garden. Crates can include a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
We'll provide everything you need to grow a productive milk crate garden that works well in any small outdoor space! Supplies are limited and registration is required. Additional dates in mid-Summer and Fall to be announced.
