Please RSVP here if you would like to be invited to the next GEO full contract bargaining session, which will take place online on Tuesday, June 14 from 9:00 to 11:00 am (CT)! Since only members like you get to attend this virtual session, please include your netID. We will send you a link to access this upcoming bargaining session.

You may attend whenever you’re free, even if you can’t stay for the entire session. Your presence in the room is essential for making bargaining decisions and showing the admin our power!

If you aren’t a member, no worries! You can fill out a membership card here:  https://www.uiucgeo.org/join#member-form.

Note: Filling out this Google Invite does not commit you to attend. It just allows us to send you a personal and exclusive link to join the session. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to geo@uigeo.org.

What would you like to see during this session? Do you have testimonials/statements you would like us to consider reading to University Management about your working conditions? (optional, and please let us know if you'd like testimonials/statements to include your name. If not explicitly stated, they'll be anonymized).
The GEO is currently compiling the University Administration's questions about our contract. On our previous session, the University Administration is asking the GEO for additional evidence around specific cases of discrimination and/or harassment of graduate workers regarding parental discrimination, gender and/or race, disability discrimination with the Office of Access and Equity (OAE), English proficiency requirements, and discrimination regarding political beliefs and any other form of discrimination. If you would like to share your testimonial regarding these specific items, please let us know. The GEO will use these testimonials at a later bargaining session.
