Survey for Food-based Businesses: “Eureka Kitchen Connect” & "Food Business Learning Program"
This survey is part of a collaboration between the City of Eureka and the North Coast SBDC.

About "Eureka Kitchen Connect"
Eureka has many small businesses that produce specialty food products, such as cookies, sauces, and cider. In fact, there are so many companies that there appears to be shortage of commercial kitchens for these companies to operate. Fortunately, the City has identified a potential source of underutilized kitchens that may be able to serve the food-based business community’s current needs.

The City may also be able to apply for a federal grant to create new commercial kitchens. The “Eureka Kitchen Connect” project is an initiative to connect prospective food-based businesses with underutilized kitchens. The ultimate objective of the project is to expand existing businesses, create new businesses, and create new jobs. The following survey is for new or prospective food-based businesses or existing businesses that are looking to expand. The goal of the survey is to identify the amount of demand that currently exists for commercial kitchen spaces. Please complete the survey below if you currently need a kitchen for your food-based business or if you are considering creating a new food-based business and will need a commercial kitchen within the next two years.

About SBDC Food Business Learning Program
The North Coast Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is running a 12-14 week learning program for entrepreneurs across Humboldt who are trying to start or grow their food business.
