MSACL 2025 : Short Course Proposal (8-16 hours)
Proposal application to lead a Short Course to be held at MSACL 2025 Montreal covering topics relevant to clinical analysis.

CME Credit anticipated.

Short Courses are expected to be lecture-based, but audience interactivity is encouraged. The expected audience size is 8-40 attendees. The proposed Short Course should run between 8 - 16 hours. Instructors are encouraged to give students a 10 minute break at the end of each roughly 50 minute session.

The course may be subject to cancellation if there are fewer than 8 registrants by the end of the Regular Registration Deadline.

Absolutely no commercial content allowed.

Monday, September 22, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, with 2 hour break for lunch
Tuesday, September 23, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Duration: 8 - 16 hours depending on course content

Attendee participation
Advanced registration is required for attendance and is fee-based. Educational Grants will be available.

Attendee Registration Fees (Industry / Academic / Student):
Early Bird : $43 / 35 / 13 per hour
Regular :    $49 / 38 / 16 per hour
Late:           $60 / 41 / 20 per hour

Instructor Compensation
** 16 hr courses. **
Registration Fee: Discount up to $2175 (no cash value, equivalent to 2.5 early bird academic registrations) that may be divided among multiple instructors.
Travel Expenses (flight & hotel only): Up to $2000 reimbursement credit (receipt required) that may be divided among multiple instructors.
** Courses with shorter durations receive pro-rated compensation. **
For example: 8 hour courses receive $1088 in total registration credit (no cash value) and $1000 in total travel expense credit.

The above limits represent the minimum guaranteed reimbursement. Additional reimbursement is possible based on income from course registrations. Actual course registration fees collected above the sum of instructor compensation will be shared equally between the course instructor group and MSACL (50% each) or can be designated by instructor(s) to increase reimbursement amount, as needed.
