Pet Attitude Scale
The Oregon State University Human-Animal Interaction Lab is looking for volunteers to participate in survey(s) exploring the human-cat bond. If you are an adult and either a United States or Japanese citizen you are eligible to participate in this research.
Please read the following information about this study before completing the survey. Thank you for your time.
Purpose: You are being asked to take part in a research study. This survey is part of a larger study examining the human-cat relationship. The purpose of this survey is to assess how people perceive the human-cat bond.
Activities: Are you willing to participate in this survey that will provide me with information for a research project? In the survey you will be asked whether you agree or disagree with some very brief statements about cats.
Time: Participation in this study will take approximately 15 minutes.
Voluntariness: Participation is voluntary. Consent to participate in this survey must be given freely. There is no penalty for choosing not to participate or for leaving this survey at any time. Your permission to use the information gathered from this survey is being requested. You are free to remain silent on any topic. Results from the survey will be used to provide information about the human-cat bond.
