Are you interested in giving back to your community in Maine and New Hampshire this summer while receiving a stipend and the significant professional experience you'd gain in a paid internship (and money for college)?

Goodwill NNE is currently recruiting for AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associates to serve throughout both states, helping organizations serve their communities better. As a full-time national service member, you will serve a ten-week term, addressing the immediate and long-term needs of communities. Projects may include, but are not limited to public health services and vaccine information to combat COVID-19, volunteer recruitment and management, workforce and reemployment services, education/youth support, serving homebound seniors and vulnerable populations, services that combat food and nutrition insecurity, fundraising, and communications/social media content creation. Members may work directly with the people their host site serves, or provide behind the scenes indirect support alongside site staff.

The full-time (35-40 hours/week), ten-week terms begin on May 30th, June 13th, or June 27th. Benefits for this commitment include: A biweekly stipend of $575 (most of Maine), $674 (Southern Maine), or $613 (New Hampshire); choice of $1,345 AmeriCorps Education Award (scholarship) OR cash stipend of $345; and professional development/training. Benefits do not include personal time off or health insurance.
