Gather Toledo's mission is to welcome our local area refugees and immigrants to Toledo by building connections and friendships. This mission is achieved by community members opening their homes to host dinner parties, welcoming refugees and immigrants to share in a night of food, culture, and conversation

How can you help? Become a...

Dinner Host: Host a refugee or immigrant family in your home. This includes providing the meal (following dietary restrictions when applicable) and it's as simple as that! Our Gather Toledo coordinators work very hard to match you with a compatible family based on your age, interest, and availability. A Gather Toledo coordinator will also be in attendance at the dinner along with an interpreter when needed.

Dinner Party Attendee: Join a dinner party! If you're not able to host a dinner or if you would like to find out more about Gather Toledo and what we do...feel free to sign up for an upcoming dinner to check it out! Once our Gather Toledo coordinators receive your information, they will match you with a dinner party that is able to accommodate more guests around the table
