This is an application to apply for board directorship of NewLife-Second Chance Outreach, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, GA whose mission focuses on providing job readiness and related skills to individuals throughout Georgians with criminal convictions. Therefore, those who have been directly impacted by the criminal justice system and has/or had a criminal conviction or is a family member or loved one of a directly impacted individual are highly encouraged to apply.

Directors are VOLUNTEERS. No compensation or stipend will be given for volunteering on the board. The duties of the board of directors include, but are not limited to, governing the organization by establishing policies and procedures, selecting, appointing, supporting and reviewing the performance of the President/CEO, recruiting new board members, attending organizational events, attending ALL planned board director meetings, serving in capacity of an officer or assisting in the absence of an officer, and ensuring the availability of adequate financial resources by making financial donations to the organization, seeking and soliciting potential donors, assisting in planning fundraisers, overseeing all revenues and expenses, strategic planning, and approve annual budgets. Directors are asked to commit to donating a MINIMUM of $120yr to the organization that can be made monthly ($10 mo.), quarterly ($30), semi-annually ($60) or yearly ($120) *
