AY 2018-19 Undergraduate Research Fellowship - Center for Cellular and Biomolecular Machines - CREST Scholars Program
This is the electronic application for the 2018-19 CREST Scholars at the NSF-CREST Center for Cellular and Biomolecular Machines (CCBM) at UC Merced.

-- Conduct research with a CCBM faculty of your choice for at least 10 hours per week (beginning Fall 2018 semester, ending finals week Spring 2019 semester)

-- Participate in CREST Scholars Research Symposium (April 2019)

-- Prep for applications for internships, jobs and grad school (one Saturday morning each month from October 2018 - April 2019, dates TBA)

How did you hear about the 2018-19 CREST Scholars Research Fellowship Program? *
I understand that the $1,200/semester award will be initiated at the end of each semester after I complete each semester's CREST Scholars Program requirements. *
I understand that my status as a CREST Scholar for the 2019 Spring semester will require approval from my PI. *
CREST Scholars attend Saturday morning workshops during the academic year beginning October 2018 and ending April 2019. Please confirm you will be able to attend one Saturday morning workshop a month in the 9am-12pm range. (workshops dates soon announced; 7 workshops total) *
I will apply to REU programs for Summer 2019. *
CREST Scholars that will not graduate in May 2019 will have the opportunity to receive priority placement in partner summer REU programs; all CREST Scholars are encouraged to take advantage of priority placement opportunities and to apply to several REU summer programs.
