The IDP is currently accepting nominations for the 2019 Idaho Activist of the Year in the following three categories:
1) Democratic Party Leader: Someone who went above and beyond in 2018 to advance the mission of the Idaho Democratic Party. This can be a volunteer, a county chair, a legislative chair, or anyone who spends their valuable time working on behalf of Idaho Democrats.
2) Community Leader: Someone who champions Democratic values in the community. This can be someone who fought for conservation, human rights, an educator who goes above and beyond in the classroom--in short, anyone who is making a remarkable difference in our communities.
3) Young Activist Leader: Anyone 21 and under who is working to advance progressive issues either through the party or other progressive organizations.
Nominations close March 8th, 2019 at 5:00PM - Award winner will be picked by number of nominations.
Award winners will be announced at the 25th Annual Frank & Bethine Church Gala on March 16th, 2019.
*Limit one nomination per person per category. Full time IDP staff will not qualify.
