This is a referral list for attorneys who can represent asylum seekers remotely who are denied at the credible fear interview (CFI) stage. The attorney can represent the asylum seeker remotely, regardless of where you are located.
These cases are complex and will require an attorney with a nuanced understanding of asylum law. There is a seven day time frame for these cases, so it will require a quick turn around. Your help is needed to ensure both access to due process and that people with asylum claims are not turned away at this stage. While we ask for your pro bono options, you do not need to offer pro bono options to get on this referral list.
The information will be made available to nonprofits to connect those denied credible fear with immigration attorneys. Unless you opt out below, your contact information may also be shared with a potential client.
