Shippensburg University Marching Band Prospective Membership Form
The Shippensburg UniversityMarching Band is comprised of students from nearly every major. Because Shippensburg University does not have a music major, we all gather on the field "For the love of music!"

The SUMB performs at all home football games and at several away games throughout the season. We are an annual participant in the Collegiate Marching Band Festival in Allentown, and perform exhibition performances in band festivals and competitions as well as feature performances for the Cavalcade of Bands and the Tournament of Bands Championships. The band performs a variety of genres from classical to pop and everything in between while executing challenging and contemporary drill.


Membership is open to all wind, drum line, front ensemble/pit, color guard and majorettes.
