BROKERS ADVISORY GROUP
Discuss trends with other industry leaders and offer guidance on broker and management education.
COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT GROUP
Initiate and organize community improvement projects to promote the REALTOR® image.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GROUP
Keep members informed on industry trends. Review current education and make recommendations for future education classes and speakers. (Global Education)
FINANCE COMMITTEE
Monitors the Association’s financial status and makes recommendations regarding financial policies. Proposes an annual budget, reviews the Association’s audit report, monitors investments and recommends investment manager.
PUBLIC POLICY COMMITTEE
Build a relationship between the REALTOR® industry and your local community government. Stay informed on community happenings and promote the REALTOR® image throughout local townships, cities, villages and counties.
GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE
Review complaints from members and the public and forward those with possible ethics violations or arbitration issues to the Professional Standards Committee. Help uphold the REALTOR® code of ethics and the image of professionalism within our Association and industry. Specialized training is required annually. Term: Three years; staggered terms. You must be a REALTOR® and have been a member for at least five years.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Help to select candidates for vacant positions on the Board of Directors as well as encourage and promote leadership development amongst the membership.
MLS FORMS COMMITTEE
Recommend changes in standard forms and MLS policies, rules and regulations. Reviews appeals of the MLS fines and decisions. Stays current with industry technology to recommend new products and services. Term: Three years; staggered terms.
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS COMMITTEE
Hold hearings forwarded from the Grievance Committee. Three years of Grievance Committee experience and specialized training required.
REALTOR® PARTY ADVOCATES
Promotes awareness, educates members and raises funds to support your career insurance; REALTOR® Political Action Committee. (RPAC)
