Creators for a Better World - Solidarity with Palestine

We make this statement, not as individuals but as a collective force of catalysts that understand our ability to ignite impactful change on a global scale.

Over the last 120+ days, we have witnessed the attempted destruction of Palestinian life and humanity displayed on our screens day in and day out. Simultaneously, our feeds continue to showcase content that can only be described as business as usual during this state of EMERGENCY. In the face of this stark contrast, we understand we must rise above the noise.  Now, with a death toll of over 27,000 – almost half of which are children – and thousands still missing under the rubble, we are raising our voices even louder in support of the Palestinian people.

While social media has provided an unprecedented platform for expression and creativity, it has also become a vital space for advocating social justice and human rights. As creators, we have the ability to shape public discourse, challenge perspectives, and mobilize our followers toward meaningful action.

In recognizing that as human beings, we inherently belong to one another and to our shared Earth, we view our platforms not merely as tools for monetary gain and power but as profound extensions of our shared humanity. As instruments of truth, empathy, and justice in pursuing a better world for all. Through our collective voices, may we strive for a world where empathy transcends borders, understanding bridges divides, and the power of connection serves a higher purpose.

The devastation in Palestine demands our focus, empathy, and action, and we believe that together, we can contribute to the actions that foster lasting change. By supporting the Palestinian cause for liberation, you not only lend your platform a voice of moral principle and empathy but also distinguish yourselves from mere online salespeople. By supporting the struggle for liberation your message is that your influence is a force for good and that authenticity and credibility are the bedrocks of your connection. You are a changemaker.

What we know to be true is this: The Palestinian people have endured over 75+ years of ethnic cleansing on their homelands. Israel controls all access in and out of the Gaza Strip, thereby controlling every aspect of Palestinian life in and out of the occupation. The unfolding situation is quite simple to understand despite the derailing calls of its complexity. Their pursuit of justice and liberation can be recognized in many of our own stories.

Our shared demands echo the calls for a ceasefire in Palestine; an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land; the entry of unrestricted aid and access to water, electricity, internet, and fuel into Gaza; and an end to the U.S. and European support of the genocidal war on Gaza.

We call upon creators of all genres to help shape a new world through a steadfast commitment to

  • Regularly sharing content on the Palestinian struggle for liberation
  • Principled boycotts of brands that perpetuate or support the injustices of the Israeli government
  • Leading our communities in direct action (sharing resources to make calls/emails/faxes to representatives, sharing local protest information, etc.)
  • Amplifying the content of Palestinian journalists, photographers, creators, etc. on the ground in Gaza reporting in real-time until Palestine is free.
