Free Tutoring by Teachers-in-Training
**As of 10am on Tuesday, April 7, we have over 100 tutoring requests. We are working through these and trying to match Cal children to CalTeach Tutors. For anyone that applies after this time, please know that we will do our best to make a match, but we may not have the capacity.**

The CalTeach program is a teaching credential program for STEM majors at UC Berkeley. We would like to offer a remote tutoring service to the Cal Community, to meet the need many families currently have for supporting the learning of their children while they are at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our students typically perform fieldwork in local schools every semester to hone their skills. However, recent school closures are preventing this from happening. This tutoring program is not only intended to support the families of the Cal Community, but it will simultaneously give our students the opportunity to put what they are learning into practice. Thank you for your interest in participating with this program and supporting the educational outcomes of the CalTeach Minor in Science and Math Education.
