Amazing Race Team Registration
Please complete this form to register a team for Amazing Race Jackson 2017.

Race Details:
August 12, 2017
Start and Finish line will be at Horace Blackman Park in Downtown Jackson
Team Sign-in 11:00a.-12:30p.
Racer Briefing Meeting 12:30p.
Race Start Time 1:00p.
Race End Time 6:00p.
After Party 7:00p.-10:30p.

Requirements for participation:
1. Teams must pay the $100 entrance fee prior to being confirmed as a team.
2. Teams must have two participants over the age of 18.
3. There is a limit of 40 team slots available and are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. The race committee reserves the right to open additional slots available as necessary.
4. Racers will be required to sign a liability waiver on the day of the race.
5. All racers must use their own bicycle and helmet during the race. Bicycles and helmets will not be available for the borrowing or purchase on the day of race, please make arrangements for this equipment prior to the event.

Things you should know:
1. First, Second & Third place cash prizes will be awarded to the fastest teams and the teams that collect the most points.
2. This race includes transportation by foot, bicycle, kayak, and bus and can take up to 5 hours to complete. Racers are encouraged to be prepared for an intense day.
3. Due to the nature of the event, the race route is not published and not revealed to anyone. Family and friends are invited to cheer on the teams at the start line and to purchase tickets to the After Party to witness the finish line.
4. Portions of the proceeds will benefit the Michigan Theater, the Jackson Symphony Orchestra, and grants for Placemaking and Community Development efforts.
