Intro to Arduino
March 19th, Hackery (ATLS 208), 5 PM
Led by Arielle Hein

This class introduces the the basics of physical computing: using a microcontroller to sense and respond to the physical world. We will utilize the Sparkfun Redboard to explore the relationship between software, hardware and human interaction. Together we will walk through the process of building a circuit and programming it to read sensor values and control LEDs or motors. You will leave with a clear understanding of how to work with Arduino to build interactive hardware projects.

No prior experience required, just a curiosity to learn! This class is intended for first-time users of Arduino and is geared towards those who are new to programming or Arduino or could use a refresher. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop, all other parts are provided.
