Held on a Friday evening once a month, the program includes sitting meditation, vegetarian dinner, and Dharma Talk Q & A. The upcoming "Thanks Buddha It's Friday will be on Oct.26, 6:30-8:30pm, discussing on the topic "Current Law Enforcement & Community Interaction" by Mr. Shaun Donelson.

*Biography: Mr. Shaun Donelson is the Police Academy Coordinator at Southwestern College and a Teacher at Grossmont College’s Administration of Justice Program, where he was recently presented with the Distinguished Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award. Mr. Donelson retired from the San Diego Police Department after 31 years in Law Enforcement, nine of which were spent with the Universality of California Police. Mr. Donelson served in a variety of assignments throughout his career including Patrol, Investigations, Administration, and specifically in the Training division. Besides teaching, his passions are studying religion and film-making.
