Please note the following important logistics about this camp program before applying:
*This new program is intended for ages 13-17
*We aim to connect teens who are interested in learning more about bird banding that already have a basic knowledge of the role it plays in conservation and a basic knowledge of bird identification.
*This program will run as a day camp on Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th, 2024. Camp will run from 6:30am-3pm each day to allow for campers to fully experience the banding station from when it opens to when it closes each day. After nets have closed, campers will spend time reviewing data & learning about its application in conservation.
*This program will have a $120 cost for the full weekend. While no payment is required at this time, payment will be required at the time of registration. Scholarships are available for this program and can be applied for
HERE.
*Due to the limited space available at the banding station and to make sure we provide quality programming, we will not be able to accept all applicants.
