BCBC Volunteer Sign-Up Form
The Bridge City Bicycle Co-op invites community members to volunteer in all aspects of the Co-op. Please fill out the following form to let us know what things you would like to get involved in and our volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you to connect you with the people who can get you set up. Please note that you do not need to know how to do a particular task to sign up to volunteer in that area.

In each section below, please check all roles that you would be interested in helping with. Feel free to skip any sections that do not interest you, and please note that you do NOT need to know how to do the tasks involved.
We currently have shop hours on Tuesday evenings (6:30pm - 8:30pm), and Saturdays and Sundays (11am-3pm) and have a variety of volunteer opportunities at each shift.
Bike Repair Resource Person (helping members repair their bikes in the shop)
Greeter (greeting members and signing up new members)
Tool-y (shop clean-up and running tools to/from tool stands)
Strip and Sort-er (Stripping donated bicycles for useable parts and sorting parts)
Anchor (opening and closing shop and managing operations throughout the shift)
Admin, Finance, and Grants
Seasonally, we apply for a variety of grants to help us fund our operations and special projects.
Seeking out grant opportunities
Software and Digital Development
Our digital committee creates, maintains and advises on software solutions for other committees, the board, and the co-operative.
Partnership and Events
The BCBC partners with a number of organizations and individuals in ongoing and punctual ways to provide programming and organize events.
Event Planning and Organization (eg. Bike to Work day; Cycling Shorts)
Tabling at events (eg. selling memberships, taking cover)
Membership and Volunteer Committee
The BCBC has many members and volunteers and it takes work to schedule and organize them all!
