PSAC BC Regional Women’s Committees Sister Check-in Survey
Greetings Sisters!
COVID-19 and the recent Women’s survey have shown us it is more important than ever for us to connect with each other and feel a greater sense of community. As such, Regional Women’s Committees in BC are excited to announce the launch of Sister Check-In for PSAC BC members who identify as women.
Sister Check-In will match Sisters who identify as women with each other so that they can forge new friendships with union Sisters they may not have otherwise gotten an opportunity to get to know and communicate with each other, either one on one or with others as part of a small group. Participants get to choose what they want to talk about - whether it’s someone to share their successes and challenges with, their hobbies and interests, or to touch base and let others know there’s a Sister out there who’s thinking of them.
Participants will get a say in how many Sisters they are matched with, how often they would like to communicate with their matches, and their preferred method of communication (email, telephone, text, video chat, etc), and the RWC will do their utmost to match everyone accordingly.
By enrolling, participants are agreeing to let their contact information be shared with Sisters they are matched with. Please note that any contact information would only be accessed by the RWC executives so that they can match participants.
We look forward to your participation and hope this is the start of many new friendships!
