Minor and Major Arcana uses a framework of daily tarot card draws to explore queerness, domesticity, rage, and embodiment in the context of COVID-19. Starting as a daily practice to ease the anxiety of our current moment, these poems find smaller, quieter places of reflection amidst a global pandemic fueling increased economic and bodily precarity. They ask what queerness might look and feel like at intimate scales, at home, molded by the mundane daily tasks of staying alive.
The chapbook contains a collection of original poems inspired by tarot cards and two collages. The book is self-published and all poems, design, and layout were created by Tyler French.
