All praise and glory to God for guiding Hallelujah Oratorio Society (HOS) through 48 years of church music ministry. We are deeply grateful for your encouragement and support throughout this journey. As we step into 2025 with concerts, ministry events, and training programs, we pray for and eagerly anticipate your continued partnership in nurturing new generations of Christians to glorify God through music.
We are pleased to announce these upcoming events:
HOS Hymn Festival “Crown Him” – 31 May, Jubilee Church
A gathering in the Lord’s sanctuary, offering worship through hymns, testimony and sermon, proclaiming His glory and wondrous works among the nations. Featuring cherished Christian hymns in contemporary choral arrangements, co-organized with Jubilee Church.
HCO Concert “Echoes of Progression” – 28 June, Esplanade Recital Studio
Featuring both classical and contemporary works performed by soloists, quartets, and the
chamber orchestra. Highlights include violin concertos by Vivaldi and Bach, performed
without a conductor, led by soloists who undertake dual roles as both ensemble
leaders and solo performers.
HAYDN-The Creation – 1 November, Esplanade Concert Hall
Joseph Haydn’s The Creation is a monumental oratorio that celebrates the
creation of the world, inspired by the Book of Genesis. This event series
includes a pre-concert talk and seminars offering theological perspectives and
musical appreciation of the work.
Ministry Events and Training Programs
These include training workshops for worship leaders and choir conductors, Singers Church Tours and music album productions.
Our plans and programs are made possible through your generous contributions and support. We thank God for you and your partnership in meeting this year’s budget of $240,000. Half of our expenses are covered by our members’ subscriptions, merchandise, ticket sales, and event fees. The remainder, essential for our outreach and expansion
efforts, is sustained by the faithfulness and generosity of supporters like you.
