The California Community College Chancellor's Office has provided Financial Aid with funds for students to assist with emergency needs. These funds are intended for California Community College students who are low income students and have an emergency need. In order to be considered you must:

-be enrolled in 6 or more units for the current semester;
-be a California resident or AB540 student;
-have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a California Dream Application (CADAA);
-have received at least a 2.0 in one of your last 3 semesters at Cabrillo, or if you are a new student, be currently in good standing;
-be low income according to the FAFSA or CADAA, and have remaining unmet need

We will determine your eligibility with this application, please make sure your answers are thorough and correct. If you are awarded the grant you will be notified and be given instructions on how to receive it.

La Oficina del Canciller del Colegio Comunitario de California ha proporcionado ayuda financiera con fondos para que los estudiantes ayuden con las necesidades de emergencia. Estos fondos están destinados a los estudiantes de California Community College que son estudiantes de bajos ingresos y tienen una necesidad de emergencia. Para ser considerado debes:

-estarse matriculado en 6 o más unidades para el semestre actual;
-ser residente de California o estudiante AB540;
-haber presentado una Solicitud Gratuita de Ayuda Federal para Estudiantes (FAFSA) o una Solicitud Sueño de California (CADAA);
-haber recibido al menos un 2.0 en uno de sus últimos 3 semestres en Cabrillo, o si es un estudiante nuevo, estar actualmente al día;
-ser de bajos ingresos según la FAFSA o CADAA, y tener una necesidad insatisfecha restante

Determinaremos su elegibilidad con esta solicitud, asegúrese de que sus respuestas sean completas y correctas. Si se le concede la subvención, se le notificará y se le darán instrucciones sobre cómo recibirla.
