St. Catherine's Island Beach Sweep

Time: 8AM - 1PM

VOLUNTEER SLOTS HAVE BEEN FILLED.  HOWEVER, WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF BOAT CAPTAINS.

As a boat captain you will be providing your boat to transport volunteers to and from the island.
• We will gather at the Half Moon marina at 8:00 AM for an 8:30 departure to the island.
• Launch fees for your boat will be paid by KLB.
• Plan to have your boat in the water and ready for departure by 8:00 AM. We should return around 2 PM.

If you are interested, please let me know and provide me with the # of volunteers you are able to transport.

Please have readily available a properly sized personal floatation device (PFD – Life Jacket) for each person you will transport. Though not required, it is recommended that all wear a PFD while underway.


Each volunteer must fill out form.
