Volunteer Form

If you want to volunteer for our rescue :

You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer.
Complete a volunteer application and assessment form (for first‐time volunteers).
Email address is required.
Attach your picture ID and proof of address.
Spread the message about responsible pet ownership and animal protection.
Volunteer assignments will be made in accordance with your interests, abilities and goals and in accordance with the needs of the rescue. Please send your completed application to gsdrescuehcec@gmail.com

Activities that we currently need support with:

Establishing a network of low cost, special care and holistic vets and boarding throughout the country
Establishing a network of fosters and transporters.
Search of potential adopters and their education on holistic dog care.
Application checking.
Search of people who could help us through administering vaccines and HW tests (not vets).
Visiting shelters and doing temperament tests and taking pictures for networking and adoption purposes.
Doing fundraising

  5. I certify that I will not share private GSDRHCEC information with anyone unless directed to do so by the board, including financials, passwords, etc.
  6. I understand that when I am out in public, especially at GSDRHCEC events, I am a representative of the rescue and will be polite and kind to all people and dogs that I meet.
  7. I am 18 years or older.
