Auditions - Auditions for dogs will be held Sept 17 at 6:00 pm. in the lower level of Old Town Playhouse. Please bring waste bags! :-)

We are looking for "Sandy". Sandy does not have to be any particular breed or size, but it would be best if Sandy's coloring was, well.....sandy. We are looking for a very well trained dog who has the ability to be on cue. Please review the perusal script to see what cues Sandy has. We will require the owner/trainer to be present at all rehearsals and performances with their dog.

Annie Performance Schedule:

Evening Performances: Nov 24, 25, 30, Dec 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16 at 7:30 p.m. | Matinee Performances: Nov 26, Dec 3, 10 at 2:00 p.m. All cast members MUST be available for all performances and extensions if sales warrant it. The extensions would likely be added Saturday matinees on Dec 9 & 16. It's also possible a Wed evening would be added but less likely.

Rehearsal Schedule - Rehearsals begin on Sept 24th. Parents will be required to attend that rehearsal with their children. Sandy's owner/trainer will also be required to fill out paperwork, etc.
Rehearsals will be scheduled Sunday through Thursday. Weekday rehearsals will likely start no earlier than 6:30 PM. Not everyone will be called every rehearsal. The final rehearsal schedule will be created after casting. Tech week is Sunday, Nov 19th - 22nd. All Actors must be present at every rehearsal during tech week. No exceptions. We will be dark on Thanksgiving Day. Our dress rehearsal will be Nov 22nd.
Please list all known conflicts on the audition form, such as work or class schedule. If you have conflicts during tech week or performances, you will not be considered for a role in the show. Please also take into consideration that Old Town Playhouse may choose to extend the run of the show by adding Saturday Matinee performances during the final 2 weeks. This will be communicated to all cast members in advance. Thank you.

Casting - We will be casting from 9-12 girls aged 8-14 to play orphans. Boys 16+ will be considered for ensemble roles. All other roles will be adults.  Warbucks will not be required to be bald. This is a large cast with many ensemble roles. And we will be casting "Sandy."
 
On-line audition form - Special casting consideration will be given to those that use the on-line audition form. Ok. Not really. But please, use the form. It helps us plan and run quick and smooth auditions. Really. Just fill it in. It's easy. Promise.
