Teaching Skills Workshop | Debunking Learning Myths: Evidence-based Studying Strategies
Educational theory and research can assist in informing how learners study and learn in a multitude of settings; however, adult learners seem to prefer studying strategies that may be more comfortable though less productive, efficient, and effective. This workshop will focus on a few high yield strategies that are evidence-based and can improve the studying effectiveness of any learner.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Analyze their own study strategies and rate their perceived effectiveness
- Discuss evidence-based study strategies grounded in educational theory and cognitive psychology
- Identify 2-4 actionable study strategies that they can implemented without hesitation
