Shape #UNIT 2017!
#UNIT 2017 | Connecting Unicorns | The Global LGBTI Tech & Science Conference will take place on 6th May, 2017 in Berlin!

This pre-registration form is for [non]tech speakers, artists, performers, musicians, sponsors, exhibitors, etc. You have an idea or a talk that is inventive, progressive, just plain entertaining or downright revolutionary? If so, then we need to hear from you. Become a part of #UNIT 2017: Send us your unique idea for a talk, project, performance, workshop, installation or really anything. Don't be shy, be assertive. We are happy about any original, bold and innovative vision – anything but boring :-)

*** Talks, which primarily promote a specific company, department and/or product are highly discouraged ***

#UNIT2017 is going to become more global, bringing speakers from various parts of the world. We want to bring together queer tech communities from East and West, North and South. We are going to discover alternative voices and unknown but remarkable tech projects from around the world and create a space for mutual learning, inspiring and empowering! We are going to look for queer hidden tech gems and stars beyond Silicon Valleys and bring them to Berlin on May 6th, 2017!

We focus on finding the most inspiring and mind-blowing speakers both high-profile and grass-root. We promote diversity and encourage women, people of colour, trans people, people with disabilities and other underrepresented LGBTI groups to become speakers. We strive to reach 50% women representation among our speakers. More than a half of speakers at #UNIT 2016 were women.

We will write to you after the submission of this form to discuss with you your proposal/idea in detail.

The deadline: April 1, 2017.
