WHO THIS CIRCLE IS FOR
* Any Connecticut farmers growing, foraging, and/or cloning mushrooms or interested in learning how from a group of like-minded individuals.
WHY THIS CIRCLE EXISTS
Mushrooms are important for farmers because it can easily be added to your operation in any fashion - Adding annother revenue stream, and it is a very easy crop to setup. You can grow using various methods - Indoor, Outdoor, Woodchips in garden beds, on Hardwood Logs, Buckets with sterilized straw. The possibilities are endless. This crop is vastly growing in popularity and has the potential to be grown year-round. Mushrooms have many nutrients, minerals and vitamins which help foster homeostasis in the body.
