COP26 - Mobilisation Survey
COP 26 presents a huge opportunity for the UK Climate Justice movement. *As a coalition* we’ve committed to broad aims to deliver a mobilisation that:
- Engages the broadest range of civil society in a transformative and climate-justice centred way
- Builds longer term capacity and power in our social movements
- Leverages pressure of COP to advance domestic policy and ensure the best outcomes at COP
The civil society mobilisations before, during and after COP will play a significant role in delivering to these aims.
As organisations invested in climate justice, we wish to work together as much as possible - working to our own unique strengths as organisations - to provide a coherent and united front and maximise the impact of our work.
*** The purpose of this survey is to understand what different organisations are hoping to get out of COP, what our collective ambition might be, to flush out any exciting ideas and see how we might work together ***
Deadline for completion: 11am, Sat 29th Feb
**One response per organisation** (We welcome responses from Scottish branches of UK organisations who feel it is appropriate to submit their own independent response)
All responses will be circulated within the Mobilisation Working Group and responses to certain questions may also be shared with other working groups in the wider coalition where relevant (please say if you don't want this). They will be used to build an agenda for Mobilisation Planning Meeting on Sat 7th March, Glasgow.
